A Week on Dolomite: An In-Depth User Experience Review 👨💻✅

I used Dolomite exclusively for a week to move beyond the hype. Here's my candid take. Onboarding: Flawless. Connecting my MetaMask wallet on Arbitrum One was instant. The interface is clean and intuitive, a stark contrast to the cluttered screens of older DeFi protocols. Asset Discovery: The list of assets is overwhelming in a good way. Scrolling through hundreds of tokens, from blue chips like ETH to obscure LP tokens, is when the "1,000+ assets" promise feels real. However, the UI does a good job highlighting assets with deep liquidity. The Core Action: I supplied some ETH and a niche Arbitrum token. Supplying was a simple one-click process. The borrowing process was where I was impressed. I borrowed USDC against my niche token. The interest rate was high (as expected for a volatile asset), but the process was seamless. The risk metrics were clearly displayed, showing my loan-to-value ratio and liquidation price. The Verdict: Dolomite delivers on its core promise of accessibility for a wide range of assets. The gas fees on Arbitrum make these transactions cheap. The leaderboard campaign adds a layer of gamification that makes interacting daily engaging. The main area for improvement is liquidity depth for the long-tail assets, but that's a community growth challenge, not a technical one.

Question: What is the most frustrating part of using a new DeFi protocol for you?
