MetaMask announces the launch of mUSD stablecoin

#MetaMask has launched its stablecoin called MetaMask USD, #mUSD . MetaMask USD is backed by short-term U.S. Treasury bills held in regulated custody and issued through a #Bridge framework built on the #M0protocol. Each mUSD in circulation is fully collateralized by an equivalent dollar-backed asset in reserve.

MetaMask USD launched on #Ethereum Mainnet and #Linea , with integrations across key EVM protocols, lending markets, DEXs, and custodial platforms. It supports fiat onramps, swaps, #DeFi use, and global spending via the MetaMask Card at #Mastercard merchants.
