🧵 Thread: How to Secure Your Binance Account Like a Pro (10 Steps)

A beginner's guide by Vijay. 🛡️

1/11

🚀 Step 1: Enable 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)

Use Google Authenticator or Authy instead of SMS. SMS can be hacked via SIM swapping. This is your FIRST layer of defense. 🔒

2/11

📧 Step 2: Recognize Phishing Emails

Check sender addresses carefully. Binance will NEVER ask for your password or 2FA code via email. When in doubt, go directly to binance.com. 🚫

3/11

🔐 Step 3: Use Anti-Phishing Code

Set it up in your Binance account settings. This unique code will appear in all official Binance emails, so you know they’re legit. ✅

4/11

📝 Step 4: Whitelist Withdrawal Addresses

This means ONLY addresses you approve can receive withdrawals from your account. Even if hacked, thieves can’t send crypto to unknown wallets. 🛡️

5/11

🔑 Step 5: Use a Hardware Wallet

For large amounts, use Ledger or Trezor. Store offline. Not your keys, not your crypto! 💼

6/11

🛡️ Step 6: Regularly Review Devices

Check and remove unknown devices from your Binance account. Don’t stay logged in on public or shared devices. 📵
