1. Tether launches a new stablecoin for the USA — USAT
The company Tether plans to release a stablecoin USAT, targeting Americans.
USAT will comply with the GENIUS Act legislation in the USA.
The release will be carried out through Anchorage Digital Bank — a custodian bank with national authority.
The launch is scheduled by the end of the current year.
2. Avalanche wants to raise $1 billion for cryptocurrency 'hold companies'
The Avalanche Foundation intends to attract one billion US dollars through two avenues: private investments and SPAC.
The goal is to strengthen Avalanche's position as a platform suitable for institutional investments and large holders (whales).
Funds will also be directed towards purchasing AVAX at discounted rates.
