WalletConnect 2.0 is really quite impressive!
In the past, I thought it was just a way to scan a code to connect to a wallet, but now I realize it has evolved into a multi-chain platform. No need to switch chains back and forth; with a single connection, I can navigate Ethereum, Solana, and even Aptos. It's very user-friendly for someone like me who enjoys cross-chain activities.
What surprised me the most is the push notification feature. I don't need to constantly stare at the screen to see if on-chain transactions are successful or if there are new updates from projects; it sends the notifications directly to my wallet—of course, I need to authorize it first, so it won't spam.
Moreover, the network is now more stable, with many relay nodes behind it, unlike before when it would occasionally lag.
To be honest, I feel like it’s no longer just a tool; it’s more like a real communication bridge. It has transformed my relationship with dApps from "one-time transactions" to "long-term collaboration."
The keys are still in my hands, and messages are still end-to-end encrypted; that hasn't changed, so no worries.
Now that I'm used to 2.0, going back to the old way? It's simply impossible...
