Later, Trump changed his statement, saying the U.S. has strong ties with India and praised PM Narendra Modi as a “great Prime Minister.”
Most recently, Trump posted that the U.S. and India will keep negotiating to solve trade issues, and he looks forward to speaking with Modi.
