Foresight News reports that, according to Hong Kong media, CITIC Trust's wholly-owned overseas platform, CITIC Xinhu International Capital Co., Ltd., announced a partnership with the Hong Kong licensed virtual asset exchange EXIO Group to issue the first real-world digital asset (RWA) digital token in Hong Kong using convertible preferred notes (Token Name: EXCB-25, Ethereum Mainnet), supported by subscription in stablecoins. CITIC Xinhu, serving as a state-owned background trust service institution in the RWA issuance process, will provide the core registration function for connecting on-chain and off-chain asset confirmation information.
