🇺🇸💣 TRUMP CHANGED FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF WAR. WHAT IS HE UP TO?
Trump signed executive order #200 on Friday, September 5, reverting to the original name from 1789. "Defense is very defensive," he said. "We don't want just defense; we want offense too. As the Department of War, we won everything: World War I, World War II."
🎖️ Secretary Pete Hegseth has already changed the signs in the Pentagon: his office now says "Secretary of War." He renamed the press room as "Pentagon War Annex." The Pentagon's website and social media already use the new name.
Technically, it is just a "secondary title" because changing the official name requires Congress's approval (it has been called Defense since 1949). But Trump says he is not sure if he needs permission: "We are just going to do it."
The White House explained the objective: "To send a stronger signal of readiness and determination" to the adversaries of the United States. Hegseth made it clearer: "We are going to raise warriors, not just defenders. We want people who understand how to exercise lethality over the enemy."
🔥 The message is obvious: while the world debates peace, Trump is preparing the United States for war. The last time it was called the Department of War, the U.S. dropped nuclear bombs on Japan.
