US commerce secretary Howard Lutnick threw a bombshell:
👉 “India will say sorry, stop buying Russian oil, leave BRICS, back the US dollar — or face 50% tariffs!” 😳
But Indian politician Shashi Tharoor wasn’t having it:
🔥 “We have nothing to be sorry about. India is a sovereign nation — we make our own decisions.”
He reminded the US that China, Turkey, and even Europe buy more from Russia than India does. So why single out India? 🤔
