On the night of September 7-8, 2025, a stunning total lunar eclipse, often called a Blood Moon, will unfold, turning the full Corn Moon a deep reddish hue for about 82 minutes of totality and spanning approximately 5 to 5½ hours overall.

It will be visible from regions covering Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and parts of Oceania, enabling roughly 85% of the world's population to witness at least part of the eclipse. The Americas, however, will largely miss it due to daylight at the time.
