✔️ President Trump officially signed an executive order renaming the Department of Defense to the Department of War.

❓ Oh, so many prime ministers from countries (Israel, Thailand, Pakistan..) proposed awarding the NOBEL Peace Prize to Mr. CHUM :))

This was the name used before 1947.

However, this executive order does not officially rename the department, as that requires approval from the U.S. Congress.

Instead, it allows the use of "Department of War" as a secondary name in official correspondence, public information, and ceremonial occasions.

The Pentagon's website has been updated to reflect this change, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has begun using the title "Secretary of War".

🔖 This move is part of Trump's efforts to showcase a tougher military stance, although it has been criticized for potentially conflicting with his previous peace initiatives.
