Today On 3 SEP 2025 Pakistan Legalized Crypto Currency & Will Introduce Digital PKR Too But You Can Still Go To Jail While Doing Trading in Pakistan If You Will Not Follow Proper Rules:

In 2018, SBP banned banks & entities from dealing in crypto. 🚫

No payments, no exchanges, no trading.

Pakistanis can only watch the global crypto adoption from the sidelines.

Today the State Bank announced:

✅ 2018 Advisory Will be Withdrawn; Crypto Will be No More Ban In Pakistan

✅ Digital Rupee (CBDC) Will Be Launched

❌ BUT: No Use for Payments or Investments

Meaning… you won’t be able to spend $BTC at stores or trade #altcoins freely.

The Digital Rupee = state-controlled digital cash 💸

✔️ Can be held & transferred under State Bank rules

✔️ Possible use in remittances or fintech pilots

❌ No open crypto investing

❌ No paying with #BTC /#ETH at shops

It is Strict Control, Not Full Adoption.

So Pakistan is opening the door to crypto… but only on its own terms. 🇵🇰
