On August 30, a shocking scam was exposed by Global Network: Wuhan police dismantled a scam gang disguised as a technology company, with 30 suspects using a "premium dating girl" script to set traps, specifically targeting netizens in romantic relationships to induce investment in virtual currency!
This operation can be called "pig slaughtering plate" version 2.0: scammers forge a rich and beautiful persona, first engaging in love talks, then sending fake investment links, tricking you into buying virtual currency and injecting it into fake platforms. When you want to withdraw money, you find that the account can't withdraw funds at all, and the profits are all numbers manipulated by the scammers' backend!
Even more shocking, the police seized over 40 computers used in the crime, more than 50 working mobile phones, and over 100 scripts and packaging materials. These "love scammers" perform daily according to the script, treating netizens' genuine feelings as an ATM!
Currently, 27 people have been criminally detained, and 3 have been administratively detained.
