Strategy investors withdraw class action lawsuit, accusing false statements regarding Bitcoin investment strategy
According to reports from Wu, investors in Strategy have withdrawn their class action lawsuit against the company on Thursday. The lawsuit accused Strategy of making false and misleading statements regarding its Bitcoin investment strategy. It claimed that the company did not adequately disclose the impact of new accounting standards on its financial statements and downplayed the volatility risk associated with Bitcoin. Defendants listed include co-founder Michael Saylor, CEO Phong Le, and CFO Andrew Kang.
