🚀 Liquidity in ~1 second: sBridge redefines cross-chain

On August 27, Solayer launched sBridge, a cross-chain bridge designed exclusively for chains based on the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) like SOON and Sonic. And what it proposes is no small feat: exchanges with an average finality close to 1 second, without going through EVM or sacrificing accuracy.

What is behind this promise? sBridge utilizes ED25519 signatures backed by specialized hardware (HSMs) and native PDA proofs, allowing asset transfers at the real speed of SVM. This not only significantly reduces slippage compared to traditional solutions but also eliminates the conversion layer that slows down many multichain bridges.

🔍 Why is it important?

- Real speed: ~1 second of finality ≠ marketing. It is technical architecture backed by SVM semantics.

- Effective decentralization: no centralized validators and prioritizing canonical assets over wrapped tokens.

- Immediate compatibility: SOON and Sonic have already integrated sBridge from day one.

🌐 Looking ahead

If sBridge achieves sustained adoption by other SVM chains, we could be looking at a new layer of native interoperability.
