《Caldera User Notes: The Details That Made Me Want to Like It》
After using Caldera for three months, I want to share a few design details that made me want to give a thumbs up. These may not be the key points highlighted in the white paper, but they genuinely affect the daily user experience.
The first thing I noticed was the design of the transaction receipt. Other chains only provide a cold and unfeeling transaction hash, while Caldera uses colors to differentiate statuses: blue for in progress, green for success, and red for failure. Once, when a transfer failed, before I could check the reason, a prompt popped up on the page: "It may be due to a low Gas fee setting; we recommend adjusting it to XX."
The second pleasant surprise is the address book feature. Not only can you store frequently used addresses, but you can also add notes and tags to each address. I no longer have to search through chat records for that string starting with 0x; I can just search for "Old Wang" to find his address.
The most thoughtful feature is their Gas fee recommendation algorithm. It’s not just a simple "fast, medium, slow" categorization, but gives specific suggestions based on real-time network conditions. Once, during a late-night transfer, the system directly suggested, "The network is currently free; you can use the lowest rate," which indeed saved a lot of money.
These small details may seem insignificant, but they reflect a commitment to user experience. In this technology-driven industry, the fact that someone is willing to pay attention to these "small matters" is worth acknowledging.
If you are also using Caldera, it’s worth paying more attention to these details. Sometimes, it’s these subtle aspects that determine the quality of a product.
