Branching Out: Technology and Infrastructure
Treehouse’s technology stack is fully on-chain and open, reinforcing trust and innovation. All core logic lives in Ethereum smart contracts (and compatible chains like Arbitrum and Mantle), which coordinate everything from deposits to rate aggregation. The protocol also plans to run on multiple Layer 2 networks; in fact, current TVL is split across Ethereum and Mantle , indicating multi-chain deployment. At its heart is a hybrid consensus model: Treehouse does not rely on proof-of-work miners or standard oracles. Instead, rate data comes from staked expert panelists who feed into the DOR mechanism . This creative use of human-incentivized consensus is an engineering innovation – it effectively makes the community part of the oracle.
On the user side, Treehouse offers a polished UI and integration. The revamped dashboard lets users track their Nuts (reward points), buffs, and tAsset positions in one place, as well as display statistics like total users and tokens distributed . Under the hood, the system ties into popular DeFi primitives: for example, Treehouse LPs include pairs on Uniswap and Balancer. It also uses tools like the Hedgy vesting platform to transparently manage token unlocks . Security-wise, the protocol’s code has been audited by top firms (Trail of Bits, Sigma Prime, etc.) and is continuously battle-tested via a bug bounty. The protocol even segregates roles (Operators, Panelists, Referencers) to minimize attack vectors
