🇺🇸🇮🇷 The U.S. has expanded its sanctions lists against Iran, including an individual, 13 companies, and 8 oil tankers, announced the U.S. Treasury Department.
The sanctions lists also include legal entities based in China, the United Arab Emirates, and the Marshall Islands, as well as tankers registered under the flags of Panama, the Cook Islands, Hong Kong, Gambia, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Antigua and Barbuda.
As explained by the State Department, the sanctions lists particularly feature two operators of oil terminals and depots in China, who allegedly "facilitated the illegal supply of millions of barrels of Iranian oil".
