The news that broke today: The founder of The Sandbox resigns, the company lays off 50% of its staff and shifts towards Web3 applications and Launchpad plans.
A quick search will show that before this layoff news broke on the 21st, there were a bunch of KOLs promoting The Sandbox and the metaverse, and they were all overseas non-Chinese KOLs.
Blocking all these KOLs, paying money to lift up garbage projects, and promoting the price of tokens means letting these garbage projects exit at high prices while encouraging retail investors to take over.
These KOLs who exploit users have no judgment and no value. They can be bought off with a few hundred dollars in advertising fees.
