According to Bloomberg, Hong Kong SFC executive director Eric Yip and lawmaker Johnny Ng were removed from the speaker list for the Bitcoin Asia conference, scheduled for August 28–29, after being advised to avoid contact with Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump. Archived event pages had previously listed them as speakers.
