Techub News Report, Bitcoin Asia 2025 opens today in Hong Kong. Abel Seow, Head of BitGo Asia Pacific, responded to a question on 'How to strengthen investor protection from an infrastructure perspective' during the roundtable discussion on 'Hong Kong's role in the global Bitcoin regulatory landscape,' stating that currently, there are still differences in the requirements and advancement of compliance tools such as KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and the Travel Rule among different jurisdictions, and there is no universal solution. He emphasized that infrastructure providers must continuously invest in and optimize compliance to evolve in sync with regulatory requirements, in order to truly build the underlying capabilities to protect investors. 'If there are loopholes in the underlying compliance, all business processes will struggle to operate effectively.'
