Succinct Labs has developed a decentralized network that simplifies zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) generation. Instead of requiring developers to master complex cryptography or build custom infrastructure, Succinct enables proof requests to be submitted to a shared prover network powered by Rust and settled on Ethereum. It’s essentially making ZKPs feel as simple as calling an API.
How It Works
A marketplace for proofs: Succinct’s network connects anyone needing a proof (like a rollup, AI agent, or cross-chain bridge) with independent provers through an auction system. Applications pay in PROVE tokens, provers bid to generate the proof, and the winner processes it. Settlement happens on-chain, while the matching happens off-chain.
Developer-friendly tools: Succinct offers SP1, a zero-knowledge virtual machine that lets developers write proofs in Rust instead of cryptographic languages. That lowers the barrier dramatically and speeds up innovation.
What the PROVE Token Does
Payments: PROVE is the currency used to pay for proof generation. Applications request proofs and compensate provers in PROVE.
Staking: Provers must stake PROVE to participate in auctions, with penalties for late or incorrect proofs. Tokens can also be delegated, allowing holders to earn a share of prover fees.
Governance: Initially managed by a security council, governance is gradually shifting on-chain. Eventually PROVE holders will vote on updates like token emissions, proof mechanisms, and fee structures.
Real-World Impact
Mainnet is live. As of August 5, 2025, Succinct is live with its Proof Network now active. It has already processed over five million proofs, securing more than $4 billion in total value and supporting projects like Polygon, Celestia, Mantle, and Lido.
The network is now a real backbone for verifiable off-chain computation, helping developers scale and secure everything from rollups to AI models.
Market Snapshot
PROVE is currently trading around $1.09, with a circulating supply of roughly 195 million tokens out of a total supply capped at 1 billion. Daily trading volume is substantial, with major listings on exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, Gate.io, and Bitget.
Why It Matters
Succinct is building the plumbing for the ZK-powered future. By turning reams of cryptography into a developer-friendly service, it unlocks practical use cases for zero-knowledge across blockchains, AI apps, identity systems—even gaming. PROVE aligns the incentives, making this infrastructure both secure and scalable.
As ZK proofs become central to trustless systems, Succinct Labs is establishing the infrastructure that will make them fast, reliable, and accessible to all.
