According to Bloomberg, the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) Executive Director Yip Wai-chung and Legislative Council member Wu Jiezhuang have been removed from the guest list of the Bitcoin Asia Summit held on August 28-29. Previously archived pages indicated that the two were originally scheduled as speakers, but chose to withdraw after receiving advice against engaging with Eric Trump. Trump's second son, Eric Trump, is one of the event guests, currently serving as Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization and involved in several U.S. cryptocurrency projects. The SFC responded that Yip is unable to attend due to a business trip, while Wu stated that he canceled his schedule due to family reasons. Currently, the SFC's Financial Technology Policy Manager Shen Zhiliang has been listed as a replacement speaker.
