PANews August 28 report, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Ohio, a pair of siblings from Trumbull County, Ohio, lost over $1 million in savings due to a fraudulent investment scheme. The case involves 325,060 USDT (valued at approximately $325,060), which has been frozen by U.S. law enforcement and transferred to a controlled wallet.

The victims initially connected with the scammer 'Shaw Goddess' via Telegram and, under their guidance, opened accounts on Crypto.com and Strike.com, cumulatively investing over $1 million. Later, the funds were transferred to a fraudulent investment platform, leading to an inability to withdraw. Federal investigators traced part of the stolen funds through blockchain analysis and froze the USDT in the relevant addresses. Currently, the U.S. has filed a lawsuit seeking to confiscate these funds and return them to the victims.
