✅️The performance of Algorand (ALGO) throughout 2025 is showing negative results with a decline of 24.5%. However, the price is rebounding by approximately 73% compared to the low in April. The month of August is recording a moderately positive trend, with an increase of +3.40%.
✅️Algorand was founded in 2017 by Silvio Micali, a computer scientist and professor at MIT, with the goal of providing a scalable, secure, and decentralized blockchain. The listing on exchanges occurred in 2019, and at the time of launch, the price of the token $ALGO reached an ATH of $3.28. Subsequently, the market underwent a phase of strong contraction that brought the value down to a low of $0.0956 in March 2020.
✅️After this crash, the price began a significant rebound, culminating in a rally that nearly touched $2.99 in November 2021, in line with the overall bullish trend of cryptocurrencies during that period.
