My first attempt at DeFi as a crypto newcomer occurred in 2025 when I discovered Treehouse through Binance Launchpool. The experience of staking ETH for tETH and earning a 5% APR made me feel the charm of DeFi. The simple interface and stable returns of Treehouse allowed me to get started quickly and join its community.

The starting point of the community: from curiosity to integration

My Treehouse journey began with a community tutorial that introduced the workings of tAssets and DOR. I staked 0.05 ETH through app.treehouse.finance, received tETH, and invested in PancakeSwap mining for additional returns. The enthusiasm of the community helped me integrate quickly, with members sharing staking strategies and yield insights in the forum. I started posting simple tutorials to teach other newcomers how to configure MetaMask. Community feedback motivated me to organize the 'Newbie Yield Challenge,' attracting hundreds of new users and growing the community size to 66,000.

The warmth of technology: simple and easy-to-use DeFi

Treehouse's user-friendly design allowed me to get started easily. The tAssets interface enabled me to stake BNB for tBNB with just one click, and the Gas fee was only $0.001. DOR's TESR data helped me understand the benchmark interest rate for ETH staking, and the accuracy of predictions made me confident in the platform. PDV allowed me to stake TREE, earning a 50% APR, with a simple operation completed through MetaMask.

I provided liquidity on Uniswap with tETH, earning an 8% annual yield. Treehouse's TVL reached $550.9 million, demonstrating its stability.

Community activities: from learning to contribution

I participated in the GoNuts Season 1 airdrop and earned a reward of 500 TREE (approximately $75) by staking tETH. The price of TREE is about $0.15, with a trading volume of $30 million, and the market performance is stable. I also joined the governance voting and supported the new tAssets proposal, feeling the power of the community.

I organized a 'tAssets Beginner Experience' event, sharing my staking insights and gaining community recognition. This made me realize that Treehouse's decentralized governance allows newcomers to influence the ecosystem.

Ecosystem expansion: connecting Web3

Treehouse's collaboration with RockX and Binance enhanced the accuracy and market influence of TESR. I discussed in the community how to optimize DeFi investments using tETH, attracting new members to join.

A newbie's DeFi dream

As a newcomer to the Treehouse community, I am excited to be part of this fixed income revolution. The tAssets, DOR, and community support make DeFi simple and trustworthy. I look forward to continuing to explore yield opportunities in Web3 and co-create the future of fixed income with Treehouse.@Treehouse Official
