The South Korean Financial Commission plans to complete the preparation of the virtual asset bill before August

According to reports from HashChain, Kim Byung-hwan, the chairman of the South Korean Financial Commission, stated that the preparation work for the second phase of the virtual asset-related bill (i.e., the 'Basic Law') is planned to be completed before the regular National Assembly session scheduled for September. In response to a query from Democratic Party member Min Byung-deok regarding the bill submission plan during the second meeting of the National Assembly's Second Political Affairs Committee, Chairman Kim responded that they will prepare adequately to ensure that the bill can be discussed during the regular session of the National Assembly.
