Recently, people keep asking me: 'Can you really turn small money into big money in the crypto world?'
I can say with certainty: Yes, but it’s definitely not the 'get-rich-quick' story — I’ve been in this for 8 years, experienced the euphoria of doubling, and also tasted the despair of losing everything overnight, ultimately grinding my way from a 20,000 principal to a 1 million profit. Today, I won't paint a rosy picture, only share practical and actionable insights so that newcomers can understand and avoid 3 years of detours.

1. Execution: Dare to think, but also dare to act; hesitation is the enemy of making money.

There are new opportunities every day in the crypto world: policy winds, narrative hotspots, capital movements... But 90% of people only stay at 'watching news', never daring to take real action, and regret when the market rises.
I started from 20,000, and the first step relied on 'decisive execution':

  1. Understanding trends gives you the courage to act: For example, realizing early on that 'DeFi would be a major direction,' I dared to allocate 30% of my position to leading projects, not worrying about 'whether it will drop', only judging 'if the trend is right';

  2. Set rules and stick to them: For example, investing in BTC regularly, regardless of whether the market rises or falls, every week I fixedly invest 2000 yuan, even if temporarily losing out, I stick to it, relying on discipline to endure until the trend breaks out;

  3. Be bold when opportunities arise.: In 2023, when the ETH ETF expectations were clear, I judged that 'funds would definitely flow in', decisively putting 50% of my position into ETH spot, ultimately achieving 3 times the profit.
    Remember: The first wave of profits in the crypto world is always given to those who 'dare to act', not those who 'just want to act'.

2. Cognition: You can't earn money outside of your understanding; understand the rules before talking about making money.

Many newcomers always think 'making money in the crypto world relies on luck', but as you go further, you realize: cognition is the core that widens the gap.
People with insufficient cognition will only follow emotions to chase highs and cut losses — seeing others shout 'this coin will double' rushes in, and panics to cut losses when it drops; whereas those with proper cognition can understand 'where the money flows' and 'why it rises':

  • I lost 80% of my principal in contracts early on, but later realized: The crypto world is not a casino, contracts are 'risk hedging tools', not 'gambling on size', so I decisively shifted to spot trading, which allowed me to truly stabilize my profits;

  • Before the ETH ETF approval in 2024, my early positioning was not a wild guess — it was knowing that 'ETF will allow traditional funds to enter compliantly, leading to increased ETH demand', which is the certainty brought by cognition.
    The higher the cognition, the better you can see through the logic behind market trends; the money earned is not 'volatility money', but 'trend money', which is also more stable.

3. Control: Being able to earn means you must also be able to hold onto it; don’t let profits slip back into losses.

The cruelest part of the crypto world is not 'not making money', but 'making money and then losing it back': Some have taken 5 times the profit, only to be cut in half later due to greed for '10 times'; some who earned money became careless, opening random positions and over-leveraging, ultimately finding themselves back at square one overnight — I've also fallen into this pit myself.
Later, being able to hold onto 1 million in profits relied on 3 'control habits':

  1. Taking profits in batches, securing gains: For example, if a certain coin doubles, first liquidate 30% of the position to recover the principal, and use the remaining profits to bet on subsequent trends, even if it drops, the principal isn’t lost;

  2. Diversifying positions, not betting on a single ticket: No matter how good a project looks, do not invest more than 30% of your funds to avoid 'losing everything due to a black swan'.

  3. Staying emotionally stable.: Not getting carried away when making money, not blindly increasing leverage; not panicking when losing, first reviewing the problems before acting, not letting emotions lead to chaotic strategy changes.
    Control is the confidence to 'survive' in the crypto world — being able to hold onto profits means you haven't truly earned.

Finally: From 20,000 to 1 million, what I most want to tell newcomers.

My experience is not a 'copy and paste to get rich' tutorial, but rather aims to make you understand: the 'wealth code' in the crypto world is never 'blindly charging ahead', but rather a combination of 'cognition + execution + control'.

  • Without execution, even the highest cognition can't seize opportunities;

  • Without cognition, even the strongest execution is just 'busy work';

  • Without control, no matter how much you earn, you will lose it back.

The crypto world is never short of opportunities, but very few can seize and hold onto them. Remember: Making quick money relies on luck, making big money relies on skill — this skill is slowly cultivated through cognition, execution, and control. Even if your current principal is only a few thousand or tens of thousands, as long as you master these three points, one day you will be able to seize your own opportunity.

What I can do is not provide you with a 'guaranteed profit code', but rather guide you to learn bit by bit: from how to read K-lines, identify trends, to how to control positions, set stop losses; from avoiding the 'slow pull and slow smash' tactics, to understanding the signals of capital flow. I help you dissect every step, accompany you through every operation — it's not about making decisions for you, but helping you build the confidence to make your own decisions.

There really isn't any secret to getting rich quickly after listening — if I had that ability, I would have retired long ago and wouldn’t need to discuss market trends and logic with everyone every day.
