I recently tried Chainbase's API to check ERC-20 balances, with a delay of 200–300ms, which is much faster than running my own node. This is sufficient for most applications.
But there are also pitfalls. High concurrency can trigger rate limits, requiring additional quota requests; some complex query results are too 'raw' and need further processing. In other words, it can help you save the effort of maintaining nodes, but it's not completely foolproof.
For developers, the greatest value of Chainbase lies in its reliability: no need to worry about node failures, no need to fix synchronization issues at midnight. You can focus on writing business logic, which is something that money can't buy.
From the data, the SDK downloads increased by 12% over the week, and Discord activity is improving. This indicates that there are already people trying it out like I am.
Interaction: If you had to choose, would you care more about A. Delay or B. Stability? Comment A/B + reason, I'd like to see how everyone chooses.
