In early August, Caldera announced integration with EigenCloud for EigenDA V2, with an external statement of '100MB/s level Rollup DA throughput.' This is not just a speed show; it directly determines whether bulk transactions/large data (game state, AI proofs, media slices) can land stably, rather than getting stuck in 'bandwidth peaks and troughs.' If you're building a high-frequency interactive dApp, P95 fees and confirmation delays will be more controllable.
2) XR Quality Metrics On-chain: Turning 'Experience' into Verifiable Data
In mid-August, Caldera collaborated with Mawari to set up an XR/AI streaming DePIN network: real-time on-chain metrics for latency, jitter, frame drop rate, frame accuracy, etc., used for node reputation, routing decisions, and reward distribution. This means that 'experience' finally has traceable on-chain evidence instead of verbal promises. For any team working on AI real-time interaction/gaming/immersive content, this is the first time they can 'speak with data.'
3) Community and Governance: The 'Layered' Design of ERA Force One
Last week, Caldera launched ERA Force One: Based on the mapping of ERA holdings and staking to 'military ranks,' different levels gain differentiated channels/permissions (including direct access to teams). This is not just simply creating a KOL club but binding long-term participation and strategic discussions, filling the 'weak connections on the developer side.' 4) The 3 Hard Metrics I Will Monitor
DA Stability: Has the P50/P95 batch confirmation delay converged in the last 7 days, and has there been any 'cross-day fluctuations'?
First Jump Success Rate: The success rate of the first interaction for new addresses & 24h retry rate (can directly reflect 'first impression').
XR Metrics → Incentive Closed Loop: Does Mawari's node reputation substantively affect distribution and routing, rather than just being 'good-looking on-chain'?
If these three aspects move towards 'narrower/stabler/more incentivized feedback,' Caldera's 'certainty' will be more than just a slogan.
5) Risk Boundaries
Deviation between caliber and reality: Is 100MB/s a peak or steady state? Under what load was the sample measured? (Look at the long-term curve, not a single press.)
Combined Risk: XR DePIN requires both on-chain measurement and off-chain node collaboration; any end's jitter will return to 'good-looking metrics, but experience may not be good.'
Ecosystem Thickness: No matter how strong the toolchain, if there aren't enough projects on the application side that 'consume bandwidth/stability,' the marginal effect will be diluted.
In one sentence: Caldera is not about increasing TPS; it's about making costs/delays/experiences predictable. For teams truly 'in production,' this is worth more than pretty peaks.
