MooKing White Talk Classroom | Why do DApps need to 'move'? Kava saves you a lot of trouble!

One hot topic recently discussed by Binance is which public chains can accommodate Ethereum's massive DApps. Here, Kava is mentioned because it is EVM compatible.

Let’s explain in simple terms: a DApp (Decentralized Application) is like an app on your phone, but instead of running on the Apple Store, it runs on the blockchain. If a team originally develops on Ethereum and suddenly wants to move to another chain (for example, because of lower fees or faster speeds), they usually have to 'rewrite the code'. This is similar to moving a restaurant from Taipei to Kaohsiung, where all the kitchen plumbing and outlets need to be redone.

What about Kava? It prepares all the compatible equipment as a 'converter', allowing Ethereum's DApps to be moved directly without rewriting.

On-chain observations show that more and more DeFi tools are beginning to test deployment on Kava because 'low-friction moving' can save a lot of time and money.

As for me at MooKing, I will first observe which star DApps start to settle in, as this will drive users and funds to come along. How about you? Would you want to move right away or wait for others to test the waters first?
