At the Crypto Latin Fest 2025, Daniel Granados explained that the opportunity to enter the cryptocurrency market is greater than ever. With data, examples, and alerts, he demonstrated how individuals and institutions are operating with Bitcoin and which strategies are consolidating this year.

Granados summarized the situation in five main ways to trade Bitcoin, each with its own advantages, risks, and investor profile. These are the most important that every trader should know.

* Holding: the simplest strategy

Involves buying and holding Bitcoin long-term. According to Granados, it is "the easiest trade in history" because, after each halving, the price rises, on average, in the following seven months. Still, many investors are unaware of this pattern, which shows how much progress is still needed in financial education.

* ETFs: regulated and institutional access

Since its approval in 2024, cash ETFs have simplified the entry of banks, funds, and family offices into the market. Today, positions can be opened with just a few clicks, something unthinkable just eight years ago. These instruments provide confidence and large-scale liquidity.

* Traditional and OTC buying and selling

The classic method of buying low and selling high is still valid, even through direct transactions in the over-the-counter (OTC) market. Here, the trader acts as an intermediary between supply and demand, profiting from the price difference.

* Futures: Trading with a market outlook

Futures contracts allow speculation on the price of Bitcoin over a defined period. Its advantage is transparency: they are traded in regulated markets, where the movements of large banks and investors can be observed, unlike decentralized markets.

* CFDs: access with little capital

Contracts for difference (CFDs) allow exposure to the price of Bitcoin and other assets with very small amounts. "Previously, hundreds of thousands of dollars were needed to participate in commodities; today, you can trade with just $10," Granados explained. This method democratizes access, although it carries greater risk due to leverage.

Traders for all profiles

Granados emphasized that there is no single valid strategy. He identified four profiles:

Conservative: leans towards ETFs and low volatility assets.

Moderate: combines holding and trading.

Aggressive: Look for extreme movements, even in altcoins.

Speculator: mixes swing trading and intraday trading with high leverage.

Conclusion: Education as an advantage

The message was clear: there is still a huge knowledge gap. Only 8% of companies worldwide have any exposure to cryptocurrencies, leaving 92% of the field open. For Granados, the secret lies in knowing the tools, choosing the right profile, and taking advantage of a market that offers everything from simple operations to sophisticated instruments.
