From Doubt to Conviction: Why I Changed My Mind About Caldera

I must admit, I was once a skeptic of Caldera. While everyone else was hyping up this rising star, I was pouring cold water on it on Twitter: "Just another hyped-up L2 concept." Looking back now, that judgment was too hasty.

The change occurred one late night. In order to write a rebuttal article, I had to dive deep into Caldera's technical documentation. Originally planning to highlight a few flaws, the more I read, the more I was astonished — their modular design is not just a gimmick, but rather the most pragmatic scalability solution I've seen. Especially the flexible options for the data availability layer, which truly address the core pain point of high Rollup costs.

The most surprising part was the actual experience. With a critical mindset, I deployed a test chain, ready to document various difficulties. However, from environment configuration to chain launch, the entire process went smoothly to the point of frustration. Particularly that real-time monitoring panel, which clearly displayed the on-chain status, even someone like me, who dislikes operations, found it somewhat interesting.

Now I have allocated $ERA in my portfolio; although my position is not heavy, it represents my renewed understanding of this project. Perhaps in this industry, maintaining an open mind is more important than being stubborn. After all, blockchain is still in its early stages, and what seems like a crazy idea today could change the world tomorrow. @Caldera Official #Caldera $ERA
