XRP enters the top 100 global financial assets with a market capitalization of 180 billion USD

Ripple (XRP) has officially joined the group of the 100 largest financial assets in the world after its market capitalization reached nearly 180 billion USD, surpassing names like Allianz, Accenture, and Boston Scientific. This is the third cryptocurrency, after Bitcoin and Ether, to make it into this top.

XRP has seen strong growth since the US elections last November, rising from below 0.6 USD to a peak of 3.65 USD in mid-July and currently maintaining around 3 USD. Although it is below the record market capitalization of 210 billion USD, XRP still marks a significant milestone thanks to price increases and the adjustments of many listed companies.

Along with the price surge, Ripple has nearly concluded its lawsuit with the SEC, spent 1.25 billion USD to acquire Hidden Road, launched the stablecoin RLUSD, and promoted the use of XRP in institutional reserves. Analysts expect that a spot ETF for XRP could be the next step.
