Hyperliquid surpasses Robinhood in trading volume for the third consecutive month

Hyperliquid continues to lead Robinhood in trading volume for three consecutive months, with July recording the largest gap at 39.1%.

According to data from DefiLlama, this decentralized derivatives exchange processed a total of $330.8 billion in spot and perpetual trades in July, while Robinhood reached $237.8 billion across all products. Robinhood's structure includes $209.1 billion from stocks, $195.8 million from options, and $28.7 billion from crypto.

The $93 billion gap in July is Hyperliquid's strongest outperformance over Robinhood since the winning streak began. Previously, according to data from Artemis, Hyperliquid achieved $256 billion compared to Robinhood's $192 billion in May and $231 billion compared to $193 billion in June.

As of August 25, Hyperliquid is nearing the $2 trillion mark in total annual trading volume, with over $349 billion just in August, surpassing July's $330.8 billion and June's $226.4 billion.
