$WLFI is about to go live, and there are many interpretations on Twitter, but most are not detailed enough, and some are purely nonsense. As a holder of WLFI, I have made the following key summaries and analyses:
1. Launch time: 8:00 AM on Monday, September 1 (Eastern Time), which is 8:00 PM Beijing Time. Please set your alarm.
2. Launch of the mainnet: ETH Ethereum mainnet.
3. WLFI trading volume on the first day: In the two rounds of pre-sales, WLFI was purchased at $0.015 and $0.05, and 20% can be unlocked. A total of 25 billion were sold in these two rounds, with 20% being 5 billion.
However, the founder, team, advisors, and partners will still be locked, while Sun Yuchen individually purchased a total of $75 million (i.e., 5 billion WLFI) in the early stage, as a project advisor for World Liberty Financial. These 5 billion will not be unlocked in the first batch.
Therefore, on the first day of WLFI's launch, the circulating volume will be 100% less than 4 billion. Excluding the shares of other partners, the actual circulating volume will likely be less than 3 billion, which is smaller than the current circulating volume of $SUI.
4. Listing exchanges: The official announcement states that WLFI will be listed on DeFi DEX and major centralized exchanges. Based on the official website information, the following exchanges that have already listed USD1 are highly likely to be listed—
DEX Decentralized Exchange:
PancakeSwap, Uniswap, WLFI APP (not yet launched)
Centralized exchanges:
Coinbase, Binance, HTX Huobi, Bitget, MEXC, Gate, ByBit, KuCoin. Here, I must seriously criticize OKX, why, why are you the only one missing?!
5. Redemption method: From noon on Monday, August 25 (which corresponds to after 12:00 AM Beijing Time) until before September 1 (optional, you can also choose to unlock after the token goes live), you can activate the Lockbox on the official website. At this time, all WLFI in your wallet will be transferred to this password box, and your wallet balance will show as 0.
Please do not panic at that time; this step is likely designed to eliminate hackers, phishing websites, and facilitate the unlocking of the remaining 80%. Many people previously thought that once it reached their wallets, it could not be unlocked in batches; this design addresses most people's questions.
6. Security matters: During the period before the token goes live, it is definitely a time when scammers and hackers run rampant, including but not limited to developing fake official websites to sell fake WLFI and directly stealing wallets (because the real WLFI tokens cannot be transferred at this time, hackers cannot move the tokens through phishing transfers; the only path is whole wallet theft).
During this time, wallets holding WLFI tokens should not connect to any third-party websites, avoid clicking any links, and do not sign any signatures.
Finally, I wish all the warriors who bravely purchased WLFI tokens at the risk of being unable to trade and uploaded their ID for KYC, may your dreams come true~
