According to the official news from Camp Foundation, the ecological token $CAMP will serve as the core driving force of the entire Camp network, covering various application scenarios such as on-chain transactions, network security, IP authorization, AI training and inference, creator revenue sharing, and governance.

On the Camp native L1, $CAMP can be used to pay Gas fees, participate in staking to ensure network security, and register and monetize IP through the Origin framework, while providing computing power credits for AI inference and training within the mAItrix framework. $CAMP also supports creators and rights holders to achieve transparent and enforceable royalty sharing, and grants governance rights to token holders.

Camp Foundation points out that $CAMP is not only the economic engine of the ecosystem but also the value link of AI-native creativity. Its functions include:

● IP Tokenization: Achieving the confirmation of original content and transparent terms on-chain;
● Authorization and Re-creation: Promoting the widespread activation of IP in user and autonomous systems;
● Revenue Distribution: Royalties flowing back to creators and AI model contributors;
● Incentive Mechanism: Driving more users to participate in creation and collaboration.

In addition, Camp Foundation announced that the $CAMP airdrop registration channel has reopened. Users can complete registration before August 25 at 23:59 (Eastern Time) (https://claims.campnetwork.xyz). In response to community feedback, the official has canceled the registration fee and will provide a full refund for previously paid fees. Eligible participants include users who held Camp TrailHeads NFT before August 18 at 4:00 AM ET, as well as contributors verified through the Summit Series incentive testnet.

Camp Foundation also reminds users: Please be cautious of phishing links and ensure to interact only with official channels.
