U.S. Treasury Deputy Secretary Falkend to Depart in Five Months

According to reports from Hashi Chain, U.S. Treasury Deputy Secretary Michael Falkend will leave his position less than five months after being confirmed by the Senate. Falkend is responsible for the Treasury's daily operations and briefly served as acting director during a tumultuous period in the IRS leadership. He is also the second Senate-confirmed official from the Treasury to depart this month, following former IRS Commissioner Billy Long, who left earlier.
