🚨News Alert: The government of the United States stated this Thursday (21) that it may revoke any visas granted to foreign citizens currently in effect.
The Department of State said it is reviewing the information of all individuals who currently have valid visas, a total of more than 55 million.
If "violations of immigration rules" are found, the visa will be immediately revoked, and the foreign citizen may be deported if they are on American soil.
This measure, therefore, may affect Brazilian citizens who are in the U.S. or who have obtained a visa to enter the country.
The Department of State did not inform, in the inquiry made by the Associated Press, whether the analysis of social media will also be a criterion for visa revocation.
