From Liquidation to Comeback: My Contract Turning Point
When I first entered the market, I was like most people: frantically studying indicators, staying up late to watch the charts, trying to catch every fluctuation.
The K-line was filled with Fibonacci, trend lines, MACD, RSI... What was the result? My account kept getting smaller, and my mindset kept collapsing.
It wasn't until the 5th account was wiped out that I finally woke up: the problem wasn't the market, but myself.
1️⃣ Why do most people get liquidated?
It's not because they don't understand the technology, but because they fall into three traps:
Frequent trading — commissions + slippage eat up all the profits.
Emotional averaging down — trying to recover losses leads to deeper losses.
Not setting stop-losses — always thinking it will come back, resulting in a complete wipeout.
I used to be like this too. Until I set three iron rules for myself.
2️⃣ My Turning Point: Only Take 'High Probability Opportunities'
Only enter at key positions — no guessing, no gambling, just waiting for trend confirmation.
Only average up when in profit — do not average down losses, only let profits run.
Always set stop-losses in advance — individual losses should not exceed 2% of the principal.
It sounds simple, but the biggest test in the market is: can you resist the urge to move around?
3️⃣ The Key from 5000U to 100,000U
80% of the time I choose to stay out of the market, just observing.
Only 20% of the time do I decisively enter, only when high probability opportunities arise.
Protect the principal with winning trades and let profits run, no longer easily giving back.
It is this combination of “patience + discipline” that has truly helped me break the cycle of liquidation.
4️⃣ Trading is not Gambling, but Probability
Learn to wait, market opportunities do not come every day.
Accept losses, small losses are just costs.
Let profits run, compounding is the ultimate weapon.
In the past, I was blindly stumbling in the dark;
Now, the light is in my hands.
It stays on, will you follow?
