It’s exciting to see the rise, but upon closer inspection, altcoins have plummeted to mere fragments, hundredfold and thousandfold coins have become legends! In the past, the bull market was driven by retail investors chasing altcoins → making profits and switching to major coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum → pushing mainstream coins to rise → a positive cycle for a thriving ecosystem. But now? Retail investors can’t enter, and institutions are playing their own game!
Would you call this a bull market? Bitcoin and Ethereum are propped up by institutions, while the application ecosystem and on-chain activities are lifeless, with funds all congregating in mainstream coins, leaving altcoins and public chains directly abandoned. Previously, everyone discussed who the next hundredfold coin would be; now, even a threefold increase is considered a blessing! The wealth creation effect is in shambles; who wants to enter this market full of uncertainty?
Strangely, when Bitcoin hit 120,000 and Ethereum 4,800 at new highs, the market was as quiet as a still pond; no one was discussing it, no one was excited. Why?
