According to Huoxing Caijing, on August 22, Ripple announced today that it has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Japan's financial group SBI Holdings and its subsidiary SBI VC Trade Co., Ltd. (a licensed electronic payment tool trading service provider, hereinafter referred to as the 'SBI Group'), planning to distribute Ripple USD (RLUSD) through SBI VC Trade in Japan. RLUSD is a trusted enterprise-level stablecoin designed with compliance and transparency in mind. RLUSD undergoes monthly audits by a third-party accounting firm.
