In 2024, Suning Yigou Cloud Warehouse introduced the WCT inventory system to achieve full-chain inventory transparency for categories such as home appliances and 3C products. When goods are received, a blockchain record is automatically generated (including SKU, production date, warranty period), and inventory is updated in real-time during dispatch to avoid overselling; Suning and suppliers collaborate on replenishment through on-chain inventory data, allowing suppliers to view product sales dynamics in real-time and stock accordingly, with payments settled using WCT. As of December 2024, the system covers 15 core cloud warehouses of Suning, with inventory counting error rates reduced from 2.8% to 0.4%, supplier replenishment response times shortened by 55%, and cloud warehouse order fulfillment efficiency increased by 28%.
