Deep Tide TechFlow News, August 22, according to The Block, the U.S. House of Representatives has included anti-central bank digital currency (CBDC) regulatory provisions in the must-pass defense bill.

The provision is named the "Anti-CBDC Surveillance National Act," which was previously introduced as a standalone bill by House Majority Whip Tom Emmer. Earlier this summer, the full House passed the bill with a vote of 219 to 210, aiming to prohibit the Federal Reserve from directly issuing central bank digital currency to individuals.
