Golden Finance reports that developers of the XRP Ledger are refuting the recent ranking results from research firm Kaiko. This ranking covers over a dozen blockchain networks and rated the security of the XRP Ledger as the lowest. This result has reignited the long-standing debate about the level of decentralization and overall credibility of the cryptocurrency platform. In the (Blockchain Ecosystem Ranking) released by Kaiko on August 13, the security score of the XRP Ledger was 41 points (out of 100), placing it at the bottom among the 15 listed blockchains. Ethereum topped the list with a high score of 83, followed closely by the Ethereum Layer 2 network Arbitrum and the Layer 1 network Solana. However, RippleX engineering director Ayo Akinyele stated in an interview that the low score for the XRP Ledger is misleading and emphasized that the network has a long-standing stable security record.
