The term 'vaseline tweet' was used by Eduardo Bolsonaro to refer to his father Jair Bolsonaro, in reference to his father posting something pleasant about Trump. The messages were obtained from Bolsonaro's phone, which was seized.
The term used generated jokes about the relationship between the Bolsonaros and Trump.
In the messages, Eduardo also shows fear of Trump turning his back on them. This is more or less how things work in the White House; the train has to keep moving, and Trump won't be supporting Bolsonaro forever.
