SEC opens an account on the Truth Social platform

According to BlockBeats, the social media platform of U.S. President Donald Trump, Truth Social, has gained a new user in the form of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). SEC Chairman Paul Atkins announced that the agency has opened an account on this platform.

Truth Social was launched by Trump in October 2021 through Trump Media & Technology Group. The platform was developed as an alternative to mainstream social networks like Facebook and Twitter, which had previously banned Trump.
