The official Shiba Inu (SHIB) account has called for major changes to the project’s strategy. Specifically, the post suggested abandoning token burning and focusing on growth based on functionality.

The future of SHIB is to build products, tools, and ecosystems that make the memecoin a useful part of both the crypto and real-world economies.

There are currently a huge number of Shiba Inu tokens in circulation — over 589 trillion. Initially, one quadrillion tokens were issued in 2020. However, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin burned over 410 trillion tokens shortly after receiving them as a gift.

Given how much these efforts increased the price of SHIB, the Shiba Inu community has been burning memecoins regularly ever since.

The controversial post also mentioned the principles outlined by the mysterious creator of Shiba Inu, Ryoshi. It said SHIB was never a simple copycat of other projects. Instead, Rioshi envisioned it as a decentralized community ecosystem. #Shibalnu #SHİB
