DBS Bank Launches Tokenized Structured Notes on Ethereum

According to CoinDesk, DBS Bank of Singapore has launched tokenized structured notes on the Ethereum public blockchain, open to qualified and institutional investors from ADDX, DigiFT, and HydraX in Singapore. The first product is a participatory note linked to cryptocurrency assets, which realizes cash settlement as prices rise and limits losses when prices fall. The unit amount of the note has been reduced from the traditional $100,000 to $1,000, enhancing liquidity and trading convenience. It is expected that by the first half of 2025, the trading volume of this product will exceed $1 billion, with a quarter-on-quarter growth of nearly 60% in the second quarter. DBS Bank also plans to expand its services to equity and credit notes.
