A Reuters/Ipsos poll showed that 71% of U.S. residents believe that artificial intelligence will take away jobs.
Even more — 77% — fear political disinformation through deepfake videos.
Social anxiety is also rising: two-thirds of respondents worry that people will start replacing communication with others with conversations with AI. Additionally, 61% are concerned about the excessive energy consumption of data centers.
